Jaipal to replace Kiran Kumar Reddy?
The national news channel NDTV today reported that a change of guard was on the anvil in Andhra Pradesh.
It said that Jaipal Reddy is likely to be shifted from the Centre to A.P. as the state's Chief Minister, in place of Kiran Kumar Reddy, who could be moved to the Centre in a cabinet reshuffle. If the Centre's decision comes into effect, Jaipal Reddy will be the third Chief Minister of AP, after Dr. YS Rajasekhara Reddy's tragic demise in September 2009.
The channel also reported that the Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Prithviraj Chavan, could be recalled to Delhi, quoting sources, and said that Maharashtra Industries Minister Narayan Rane is likely to be Chavan's successor.
