Balakrishna's latest offering Jai Simha has opened positive reviews from critics. The buzz that the movie generated is attracting large crowds into theatres. In terms of collections, Jai Simha is holding its own against Power Star Pawan Kalyan's Agnyaathaavaasi.

A lot of hype was built around Agnyaathaavaasi and audiences expected the Pawan Kalyan-Trivikram Srinivas combination to work its magic again. The Pawan Kalyan starrer met its match in Jai Simha at the box office. In fact, the Balayya film pipped Pawan's release at the post, in the Sankranthi race of 2018. His fans therefore, have every reason to celebrate.
