Jagan will bring back days of YSR: Sharmila

YSR Congress party president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy's sister Sharmila, said that Jagan was unlawfully arrested because the detractors were jealous of his popularity. "They knew that if Jagan was outside, he would remain in the hearts of the people which hasn't changed even now,"

she said. She also said that the YSRCP president would have been jailed even if the late Chief Minister father Dr YS Rajasekhara Reddy was alive.

Sharmila, Who was accompanied by the YSRCP honorary president, YS Vijayamma on her 'Maro Praja Prasthanam padayatra', also said that YSR had served the Congress for 3 decades. However, in return the ungrateful party got his name included in the FIr filed by the CBI.

Sharmila was addressing a gathering at Uravakonda in Ananthapur district. In reply to Chief minister Kiran Kumar Reddy's question if Jagan went to jail only for the sake of people, she said that  her brother always fought for the welfare of farmers, students and handloom workers.

She also asserted that nobody can stop Jagan, and that he will come out soon to walk in the footsteps of his father. "Jagan will bring back the days of YSR and fulfill all his unrealized dreams," said Sharmila.

She also alleged that although the ruling government has failed in all respects, TDP Chief N.Chandra Babu Naidu  instead of opposing the inactive policies of  the government  is busy doing padayatras.

"Naidu is resorting to all kinds of political gimmicks," she said
