Jagan to meet Sharad, President on Saturday

In his mission to stall the process of bifurcating Andhra Pradesh, YSR Congress Party president Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy to meet the President Pranab Mukherjee on Saturday at Rashtrapati Bhavan, New Delhi.
According to his party leaders, his itinerary in the national capital on Saturday is fixed with appointments of the leaders of various parties, besides the President to seek their support for the 'Samaikyandhra' movement, for which he is the vanguard.
He will meet the President to apprise him of the developments in the State in the wake of Congress's 'unilateral' decision to bifurcate the state, and seek his immediate intervention on the issue. Later, Jagan will also meet JD(U) president Sharad Yadav.
In a related development, Jagan moved a petition in the CBI court seeking its permission to visit Mumbai, Chennai, and Bhubaneswar. After hearing the arguments and counter arguments, the court has allowed Jagan to visit Mumbai and Bhubaneswar, but adjourned the argument on Chennai visit to November 25.
