Jagan to meet Jayalalithaa today
YSR Congress chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy will meet Tamil Nadu chief minister J Jayalalithaa to seek her party's support for united Andhra Pradesh on Wednesday.
Jagan will be accompanied by a delegation of YSRCP leaders on his visit to Chennai.
This visit is a part of his stated objective of mobilising the opinion against the 'arbitrary usage of Article 3' of the Constitution that empowers Government of India to create new states.
Hitherto he has met West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee, Odisha chief minister Naveen Patnaik, Union Agriculture Minister Sharad Pawar and Shiv Sena leader Udhav Thackeray among other leaders.
Apart from demanding the Centre to keep AP united, he is also seeking constitutional amendments to Article 3.
