Jagan's 'sisters' throng Chanchalguda to tie rakhi
Rakhi is a very special occasion, particularly for those who celebrate the festival. The festival gives a new meaning to sibling love. Any girl looks forward to this day to tie rakhi to her brother.
YSRCP leader Sharmila too is no exception to this. This is the second year she will be tying rakhi to her brother Jagan Mohan Reddy at the Chanchalguda jail.
Not just Sharmila, several women from across the state who consider Jagan as their brother thronged the jail entrance to express their love to their brother.
However, police did not allow the women to enter the jail. The disappointed women staged a sit-in in front of the jail to protest police indifference. Several women had to be content with tying rakhis to Jagan's photos.
Earlier in the day, Jagan's wife YS Bharathi too met him in the jail.
