Jagan's health deteriorates, jail officials worried

The health condition of YSR Congress Party president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy who is on a hunger strike for the last five days is critical.

Chanchalguda Central Jail officials said that his blood sugar levels have drastically dropped. They said that Jagan was refusing to take food.
Sources say that the jail officials and doctors have requested Jagan to call off his fast in view of his failing health.

Meanwhile, the jail officials held a series of meetings to decide the future course of action in the event of Jagan's ill health.

Worried about his health, scores of Jagan's supporters continued to throng the jail to catch a glimpse of their leader. However, the cops and additional forces deployed there apprehended them.

YSRCP leader Rehman and several other activists were arrested when they attempted to proceed towards the jail premises.
