Jagan Reddy continues fast despite being critically ill

Despite deteriorating health condition, YSR Congress Party president Jagan Mohan Reddy has been continuing his indefinite fast which entered fifth day on Wednesday.

Jagan, who began his fast at his party office at Lotus Pond last Saturday in protest against the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh, is suffering from fever and dehydration. He also complained of headache and back pain to the team of doctors which conducted multiple tests on him. The doctors said that Jagan's sugar level has dipped sharply.
However, Jagan has refused to take fluids and medicines and announced that he would continue his fast till the Centre withdraws its decision to divide the State to carve out Telangana.
