Jagan health starts depleting

The indefinite hunger strike of YSR Congress Party president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy entered third day on Monday.

Jagan is on an indefinite fast to protest against the Centre’s unilateral decision to bifurcate the state since Saturday. People from different walks of life, particularly women in huge numbers visited the fasting venue and greeted Jagan.

The doctors today put Jagan through a battery of medical tests to check his BP, sugar and pulse.
A team of specialist doctors from the Osmania General Hospital here, who examined Jagan, said that his health started deteriorating with his BP, sugar and pulse levels dropping. Meanwhile, he was suffering from severe backache.

As per the Health Bulletin:
Blood pressure(BP): 130/90
Sugar level: 68
Pulse rate: 60

Doctors advised him to take liquids to maintain sugar levels. However, Jagan refused to take any fluids and made them clear that he would continue his fast till the Centre revoke its decision to divide the state.
