Jagan files petition on chargesheets

Jagan files petition on chargesheets - Sakshi Post

YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on Monday filed a petition in the CBI court seeking CBI not to file chargesheets till the end of investigation into the quid pro quo case.

Initiating the arguments, Jagan’s Counsel Susheel Kumar in his petition appealed to the court for joint trial into all the five chargesheets. The counsel alleged that CBI was violating the Supreme Court’s verdict. Quoting the SC verdict, Susheel Kumar said there should be one FIR for one offence. He mentioned four instances where the Supreme Court followed and gave verdicts similarly. But the CBI was acting against the SC verdicts, the counsel remarked.

Stating that the CBI was misusing the law, Susheel Kumar said the chargesheets filed more than one should be considered as additional chargesheets. He requested for trial on all the chargesheets simultaneously.
