Jagan consoles kin of GAIL victims
YSR CP chief and the leader of opposition YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on Saturday visited Nagaram village on Saturday to console the grief-stricken family members of the victims who were charred to death in the GAIL pipeline explosion.
He consoled the family members and assured them that he would stand by them. The family members of the victims broke down upon seeing Jagan and explained to him about the tragedy. (Horrific most mishap)
As many as 17 persons died,scores injured, and homes and crops in an area of 25 acres were reduced to ashes when the GAIL pipeline at the Tatipaka Gas Connection Centre leaked and the fires leapt early on Friday.
YS Jagan expressed shock and grief over the accident. He demanded that the injured be given the best medicare. He also wanted a thorough probe into the incident.
Jagan arrived by flight at Mathurapudi and then drove to Nagaram village. Later, he had visited Kakinada government general hospital, where the injured are being treated.
