Jagan bail petition hearing underway in SC
The CBI on Monday filed its counter petition in YSRCP president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy 's case. Earlier when the fresh bail plea came up for hearing at the Supreme Court, Jagan's counsel had argued that his client was deliberately being kept in jail.
Jagan's lawyer also alleged that the investigations were being delayed due to political reasons.
The Apex Court had issued notices to the CBI asking it to file its response before the next hearing and had posted the matter for May 6 (today).
The hearing is underway at the Supreme court in New Delhi. YS Bharathi, wife of YS Jagan is said to be attending the hearing.
