J C Diwakar meets CM, finds an ally for anti-Sonia campaign
Politics have no permanent friends nor permanent fores. Sonia Gandhi must be learning it the hard way following her party's dismal performance in the assembly elections of four states. After Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy took on the Congress chief, senior Congress leader J.C. Diwakar Reddy is also braying for her blood.
On Tuesday the leader met the CM at the latter's camp office to discuss both the political happenings in the state in the back drop of Cabinet's approval of Telangana bill and Congress's miserable election outing. Their meeting gained importance as both the leaders are now walking an anti-Sonia line.
On Monday, Diwakar had demanded Sonia Gandhi's resignation as president of AICC and give way to youngsters.
Diwakar also said that he squarely put the blame on Sonia, and as the party president, she was responsible for the debacle.
