Uma Madhav Reddy, who spoke to the media persons at Hyderabad on Friday said that the TDP is all but finished in Telangana region. She said the party has no future in Telangana. She further said that Revanth has joined the Congress because he has got a better deal and a lucrative offer. "I can join the Congress only if I get a good offer," she said.
"If only I could get a lucrative offer, I would have left the TDP along with Revanth Reddy,"she said. She said she would consider if there is an offer from either the TRS or from the Congress. "In fact, the TRS gave me an offer sometime ago. But, at that point in time, I decided to stay with the TDP. Now, if I get an offer again, I would consider it," Uma Madhav Reddy said.
There were media speculations that Uma would leave the TDP for quite sometime. Interestingly, she appeared to be preferring to join the Congress over the ruling TRS. There are also reports that she has met senior Congress leader K Jana Reddy on the issue.
