It Was Father Who Raped and Murdered Mounika

Karimnagar: It was the father of the 22-year-old married girl Mounika whose death was shrouded in myestery who actually killed her. He also raped her before killing her by strangulating with her saree.

Mallaiah first reported to the police that some miscreants abducted his daughter while he was taking her to their home in Desaipet from in-laws’ place in Motkuraopet in Karimnagar district. Her body was found in a secluded place on Monday.

After investigating from all angles, police got doubt on Mallaiah whose version of abduction of the girl was inconsistent. Then police took him into custody on Sunday evening and questioned in their own method. Mallaiah confessed to killing his daughter after raping her.
