IT Seizes Rs 280 Crore Unaccounted Money In Telugu States

Hyderabad: Income Tax authorities have seized Rs 280 crore in the Telugu states post demonetization whereas Rs 1.90 crore has been seized in new currency notes.

Director General of Income Tax (Investigation) Neena Nigam made the disclosure on Monday at the press conference, adding that they have conducted 12 searches and total of 30 searches till date since April 1 this year.

"Apart from Rs 280 crore, we have seized Rs 11 crore in raids," said Neena.
