It's time for Naidu to do a reality check
Whenever a problem crops up within the party, it's customary for its leaders to approach their president or a person of authority to seek a solution. However, this doesn't seem to be the case in TDP.
Looks like all love is lost between TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu and his party members. Else why would they approach a third person's intervention to solve their issues?
Here's a peek into a part of the six-page letter TDP members wrote to the district collector of Machilipatnam.
To,
The Collector & District Magistrate
Krishna, Machilipatnam
Sub: Some important problems in Krishna District- Action- Required- regarding
It is learnt that they submitted a memorandum to the collector. Interestingly besides farmers' issues, the letter also talks about infighting in TDP like..
- Appoint Penamaluru constituency in charge
- Appoint in charge for Nuzivudu constituency
- Appoint in charge for Avanigadda constituecny
Sources say the letter bears the signature of district in-charge Devineni Vumamaheswara Rao. However, it is learnt that the TDP partymen withdrew the letter soon as realisation dawned upon them that they had committed a mistake.
One wonders what Naidu is doing while all this is happening behind his back. It's time he gets over his euphoria of padayatra success and get back to reality.
