It’s for the UPA Govt to take a decision on T, says Vinod - Sakshi Post

Senior Congress leader and Member of Parliament G Vinod today joined the party bandwagon to say that the ball is now in the UPA court to amicably settle the separate Telangana tangle.

Vinod, who is in New Delhi, attributed the delay in taking a decision on separate Telangana to the problems involved among the UPA partners.

Throwing his weight around TRS president K Chandrasekhar Rao, the Congress MP said that KCR held detailed discussions with the senior Congress leaders in Delhi during his month-long stay in the national capital. “Now the ball is in the UPA court,” he added. He, however, was quick to add that the delay was due to the latest differences cropped up among the UPA partners on allowing the FDI into domestic retail market.

The Congress leaders from Telangana region have, in the past couple of days, begun stating that they had done enough to take the separate state demand to the notice of the UPA government and it is now for the Centre to announce its decision at the earliest possible.
