Mumbai: Tension prevailed at Mumbai's Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport when a person found a note in a toilet warning attack on cargo on the Republic Day next year.
According to the news report, Islamic State (IS) claimed to have left the letter stating that it would carry out the attack on January 26. Taking the note seriously, the CISF (Central Industrial Security Force) along with the Maharashtra police have tightened the security and are not leaving any suspect following the threat note.
Meanwhile, security is beefed up in the cargo area in the city. People are being allowed only after thorough checking. Bomb squads have been roped in to conduct searches.
