Is TDP on its last gasp in Telangana? - Sakshi Post

Biggies, who stayed with the Telugu Desam Party through the thick and thin and did not mind being in the opposition for nine long years, are leaving the sinking boat that the party is in Telangana.

Less than two weeks after key leader from Khammam Tummala Nageswara Rao bid adieu, a host of TDP MLAs from Telangana are getting ready to latch on to the TRS bandwagon.

It appears senior TDP leader and Errabelli Dayakar Rao is all set to desert TDP. Of late, he is not active in party affairs and does not enjoy the best of relations with Revanth Reddy. They have differing and in fact, diametrically opposite perspectives on Metro Rail project.
Errabelli, the TDP's big boss of Warangal district, was in touch with KCR and is said to be seeking the opinions of his supporters and well-wishers about his next political move. It is also being said that KCR assured him a ministerial berth.
Another heavy weight TDP leader from twin cities Talasani Srinivas Yadav is understood to be readying himself up to hop out of the TDP basket. Interestingly, not only Errabelli, Talasani but as many as five others - Challa Dharma Reddy, Maheshswaram MLA Teegala Krishna Reddy, Rajendranagar MLA Prakash Goud, Ibrahimpatnam MLA Kishan Reddy, Qutubullapur MLA Vivek Goud's names are doing rounds. They are reportedly waiting for the right moment to jump into the TRS. The right time could be the TRS plenary which is going to be held soon.
