Is Jaipal Reddy calling it quits?
Is Union minister S Jaipal Reddy ready to resign from the Cabinet? Has he decided not to contest the next elections? The Telangana Congress MPs raised these two questions on their minds.
The Telangana Congress MPs hinted that Jaipal Reddy was ready to resign from the Cabinet to lead the Telangana movement, if the Centre did not make any announcement on the Telangana issue in the Parliament budget sessions.
Insiders say, the MPs even said that the union minister had decided to quit the cabinet, but continue in the Congress party.
He was also planning to not contest the next elections, they added.
