AP state is about to get yet another rude shock, this time an electrical one. The state electricity board has decided to hike the charges after the DISCOMs presented a proposal of Rs.7200 cr increase in the charges to them.

Public surveys are being conducted on the lines of the proposed charges by DISCOMs. However, the increase in the tariffs is likely to be implemented according to the proposals.
