Is a Cong leader behind Hemasri's murder? - Sakshi Post

The Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka police have not yet achieved a breakthrough in the circumstances that led to the murder of Kannada small screen actress Hemasri. The mystery seems to have deepened with contradictory versions coming from various angles.

Though Hemasri's husband Surendra Babu confessed to the police to having murdered her, the police is racking their brains as to who had raped her before she was done to death. An autopsy was conducted on Hemasri’s body at Victoria Hospital in Bangalore four days ago and the post mortem reports said that it is a clear case of murder by giving her an overdose of chloroform. And, the report also mentioned that she was subjected to gang rape before she was murdered.

During the investigation, the police have come to a conclusion that Hemasri was raped and then murdered in Anantapur district, according to sources.  The entire episode of murder and gang rape took place in the farmhouse of  Murali, a Congress leader and former corporator of  Anantapur, it is reliably learnt. The Karnataka police had already been to  Anantapur to investigate the case. According to sources, the Karnataka cops have been complaining that their Andhra Pradesh counterparts are not cooperating with them.

Certain local media reports suggest that the AP police are not extending any kind of cooperation to Karnataka police as a minister or his kin appear to be involved in the rape and murder of the upcoming artiste. Unconfirmed reports point a finger at a fairly senior leader in the State. Even the Karnataka police are understood to be in a dilemma only because of the involvement of this senior leader.

As this leader is holding a high office in Andhra Pradesh and wields considerable influence in Delhi, the police of both the States could not move an inch forward, reports emanating from various sections suggest. The police have a clear clue about this minister's hand behind Hemasri's death, it is learnt. Hemasri, who was quite a  popular television actress in both Telugu and Kannada, was found dead under mysterious circumstances in the farm house of  Murali on October 9.
