Insult to 'T' Cong MPs at Delhi
In a major embarrassment to the Telangana Congress MPs, the Congress top leaders who summoned them to Delhi are not available.
According to sources, Madhu Yashki Goud, Ponnam Prabhakar and S Rajaiah went to Delhi after a call from the Congress High Command to discuss on the Telangana issue.
On Tuesday, Madhu Yashki said that he got a call from AICC observer Vayalar Ravi, asking them not to act in haste with respect to their resignations.
Adding to their woes, Vayalar Ravi and Union health minister Ghulam Nabi Azad were not available for the three MPs. It is learnt that Vayalar Ravi left for Vellore in Tamil Nadu for medical treatment, while Azad too was said to be out of town.
Irked by this, the MPs have decided to submit their resignations personally if they did not get any decision in favour of Telangana state. Earlier, they had decided to send their resignations to Sonia Gandhi through letter.
