Insane son hacks mother to death

A case of matricide is reported at Vangapadu village in Bestavaripet mandal of Prakasam district on Thursday.

Revealing the details, the police said Kamireddy Chenchamma, 50, was living alone in the village as her three sons living separately. Her third son Kamireddy Panduranga Reddy, who was living in Papaiahpalle, reached Vangapadu and hacked his mother with a sharp-edged weapon. Police said his mental condition was not normal for quite some time. The investigation is on.
