Infighting in TDP to the Fore

Visakhapatnam: Infighting within the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) has come to the fore in the presence of the party chief and Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu, here on Thursday.
The CM is on a tour of Visakhapatnam and as part of the tour, he reached Sabbavaram to lay the foundation of a petroleum university. However, during the function, TDP leader Gandi Babji and his followers stopped another another leader Bandaru Satyanarayana Murthy from reaching the dias. Followers of both the TDP men started arguing which boiled down to fist cuffs. As the situation was going out of control, local police arrested Gandi Babji and several of his followers. They have launched a protest against the arrests. Further details are awaited.
