Indian Plane Makes Emergency Landing in Pakistan

A Doha-bound Jet Airways 9W 202 plane from India had to make an emergency landing at the Karachi airport in Pakistan on Tuesday after one of its passengers took seriously ill. However, Pakistani doctors, who examined him, confirmed his death. The pilot of the Jet Airways took permission to land in Karachi.

The patient was identified as Sohan Singh. He suddenly fell ill in-flight and the captain decided to land in Pakistan given the emergency. The aircraft later returned to Delhi on Tuesday morning.

The airline had 141 passengers on board.
