Independent MLA joins Congress

At a time when MLAs from various parties in Telangana are queuing up to join the ruling TRS, here is an MLA who joined the Congress.

Donthi Madhava Reddy, an independent MLA from Narsampeta in Ranga Reddy district, donned Congress scarf on Tuesday.
Madhav Reddy, who worked as Warangal Congress president, joined the party in the presence of AICC general secretary Digvijay Singh.
The talk in the Congress is that Madhav Reddy 's entry was stiffly opposed by Telangana PCC chief Ponnala Lakshmaiah's supporters. Senior Congress leader Jana Reddy reportedly played a key role getting Madhav Reddy into the Congress.
