IIIT student falls from moving train, dies in Adilabad

T.Gandhi, a student of IIIT, died when he slipped and fell from a train, near the Basara railway station in Adilabad district on Tuesday.

Gandhi, second year engineering student boarded Ajantha express on his way from Kama Reddy to Basara. 

According to reports, the train does not stop at Basara station, but slows down. When the train slowed, Gandhi jumped from it, sustaining critical injuries. He died on the spot.

Gandhi was a native of Bandlapalli village of Putalapattu mandal in Chittoor district.

His body was sent for postmortem. Police were notified and they informed about his death to his parents. Gandhi's family plunged into deep grief on hearing the news of their son's sudden death.
