“I replicate Indira Gandhi’s ideal on United AP”

Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy on Thursday said that he is only recalling what Indira Gandhi spoke in the Parliament against the division of Andhra Pradesh. Kiran Reddy garlanded the statue of Indira Gandhi and paid tributes on the occasion of her 29th death anniversary.

Speaking on the occasion, the CM made it clear that he only followed her words supporting united Andhra Pradesh.
“Despite the movements in 1969 and 1972 in favour of dividing the State, she was firm not to let the State divided,” he said. Only because of Indira Gandhi's foresight the state remained united, he added.
