'I don't want cabinet berth....need only funds'

  Telugu Desam Party MLA from Anantapur (Urban) constituency Vykuntam Prabhakar Chowdhury made a typical comment at a time when their president N.Chandrababu Naidu is going to take oath as the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh on June 8.

“I don’t want a berth in Chandrababu’s cabinet. What I want is only enough funds for the development of my constituency,” said Chowdhury.

He worried that the financial position of Andhra Pradesh is not good.

“In these situations, fulfilling the election promises is not a small thing,” said the legislator.

As per the media reports, about 10 to 15 ministers may take oath along with Chandrababu Naidu on June 8.

However, the name of Chowdhury is not being heard for a berth in the state cabinet at the moment.
