'I am in this position only because of my teachers'

“Mother gives us birth and it is the teacher who gives us life,” said Telangana Chief Minister K.Chandrasekhar Rao.

Speaking at Ravindra Bharati on the occasion of Teachers’ Day on Friday, he said, “I am in this position today only because of my teachers in my childhood.”

“Teachers are responsible for the growth in my life,” said KCR.

He reminded that he got his education from Mrutyunjaya Sarma. “He taught me without taking any fee from me. I wrote a poem in my ninth class. Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan did a great service to the country,” said KCR.

He conveyed his best wishes to all the teachers on the occasion of Teachers’ Day.
