Telugu Actor Srikanth’s Father Passes Away

HYDERABAD: Prominent Telugu actor Srikanth's father passed away on Sunday night in a Hyderabad hospital on Sunday night.

Srikanth's father Meka Parameswara Rao (72) breathed his last at 11:45 yesterday (Sunday). Parameswara Rao, who has been diagnosed with lung disease, was undergoing treatment at Star Hospitals for the past four months.

Born on March 16, 1948 at Mekavaripalle in Krishna district, Parameswara Rao migrated to Basavapalem at Gangavati district in Karnataka. He is survived by wife Jhansi Lakshmi, daughter Nirmala and two sons, actor Srikanth and Anil.

Family members have informed that funeral will take place at the Mahaprasthanam after 2:00PM today afternoon. Tollywood celebrities have expressed their condolences for Srikanth and his family.
