High Tension Prevails At Hyderabad, Police Provides Three Layered Security - Sakshi Post

HYDERABAD: The TSRTC strike enters its 36th day on Saturday. Commuter woes continues along with the indefinite strike called by the TSRTC employees of the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation. TSRTC JAC planned to further intensify the protest by their proposal of 'Chalo Tank Bund' today.

However the Telangana police denied permission for the movement and has provided three layered security at Tank Bund to stop the agitating TSRTC employees protest at Tank Bund.

Telangana police erected barricades on the roads at all the possible entry points of Tank Bund. With this there are lot of traffic diversion which creating inconvenience to  school children and office going people near at Ambedkar Statue, at Indira Park Road and at Boats Club Road.

The state police have also deployed tight security particularly at the Old City area, major monuments and mosques to ensure that no toward incident takes place.

Meanwhile, the police also closed the Upper Tank Bund for traffic from 8 am to 5 pm today in the view of the 'Chalo Tank Bund' march called by the TSRTC unions. The security forces were brought from Karimnagar, Nizamabad, Bhainsa, Bodhan, and Kamareddy in addition to Hyderabad.
