Hyderabad Man Raped Married Daughter Since Childhood

Hyderabad: A 23-year-old married woman lodged a complaint on Friday against her father alleging that he had been sexually assaulted her since her childhood.

The victim, a resident of Golconda in the city said that her father raped her several times since her childhood and also threatened to kill her if she revealed the matter to anyone. She further said that he did not spare her even after she got married adding that he would call her home to fulfil his sexual desires.

Fed up with the harassment, the woman filed a case against him and investigation is underway. On the other hand, the victim was sent to Bharosa centre to record her statement by the police and to counsel her.

The police who registered a case said that they are not sure if the woman's complaint is true as she earlier filed a false case against her father over property dispute. When the police refused to accept the complaint the woman changed the complaint as sexual assault against which they registered a case.
