Hyderabad Youths Bring LSD Drugs From Goa For New Year Party, Arrested  

The Telangana police arrested two youngsters with a huge cache of drugs. It is learned that the duo had bought Lysergic Acid Diethylamide (LSD) drugs in Goa and smuggled them into the city. They were planning to use them during the New Year party.

It's worth mentioning here that only a few months ago, the anti narcotics branch along with the police had busted a huge drug racket and arrested drug peddelers. The phone record revealed the names of well known personalities in the city and also youth studying in reputed institutions.

Soon after, the Telangana police swung to action cracking down every possible pub and bar in the city. That is when hookah bars in Hyderabad were banned.Till date hookah is not available in any city hangouts.

Thanks to the the Telangana Prohibition and Excise (P&E) wing which had stumbled upon the drug menace in the city, stringent measures were put in place by the Telangana government to prevent the ill practice.

According to a press release circulated to the media, the commissioner's task force, west zone team in Hyderabad arrested two persons who were selling LSD. Bikes, stamps of LSD drugs and cell phones have been seized from their possession. The accused have been identified as Rohith and Vicky.
