Hyderabad University Scholar Found Dead Under Mysterious Circumstances
Hyderabad: Sooria Prakash, a research scholar from University of Hyderabad (UoH) was found dead on a train under Suspicious circumstances on Thursday while traveling to his hometown Dindigul in Tamil Nadu.
The cause of his death is yet to be ascertained but people who knew him said that Prakash was keeping unwell for the past two months and was suggested by his friends to go home and take proper treatment.
The students association described him as an active researcher who had presented several scholarly papers to several Indian universities and abroad
“He boarded the train to go to his home town on Wednesday. When fellow passengers tried to wake him up at the Dindigul station, they found him dead,” said a UoH student.
Prakash doing his research under - Centre for Study of Social Exclusion and Inclusive Policy – recently submitted his thesis on manual scavenging.
On learning about his death, a condolence meet at the north campus shopping complex was held by Ambedkar Students’ Association. The students association described him as an active researcher who had presented several scholarly papers to several Indian universities and abroad.
