Hyderabad’s minimum temperature is likely to fall by four degrees

Hyderabad: The Met department officials on Sunday said Hyderabad's minimum temperature is likely to fall by four degrees due to the cold waves coming from the northern regions of the country.

"The temperature is likely to go down and will drop to a minimum of 10, sometimes even to single digits," said YK Reddy, IMD Director in-charge.

Reddy added that a minimum temperature of 12.9 degree Celsius, which is three degrees below the average temperature has been recorded by the city.

As per the records, city's lowest temperature was of 601 degree on January 8, 1946, while for the state was bone chilling 4.4 degrees which was recorded in Nizamabad on December 17, 1897.
