GHMC bagged number one spot in the Economic Survey of India
Hyderabad: The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) has bagged number one spot in the Economic Survey of India, 2016-17, released on Tuesday.
As per the survey Hyderabad stood at number one in the parameters ranging from transparency, participation of citizens and complying with a Public Disclosure Law and putting in place internal audit units.
Meanwhile, Pune and Hyderabad shared same spot when it came to a local body generating its own revenue as a percentage of total expenditure
Telangana Minister KT Rama Rao said that the GHMC and its teams should be congratulated for meeting the parameters ratio.
