Hyderabad Police seizes 22 quintals of ganja, 3 held

Hyderabad: Hayathnagar Police on Monday morning seized ganja stocks and arrested three persons in connection with illegal transportation and drug trafficking. The Hyderabad-bound ganja-loaded DCM van was coming from East Godavari district.

Being alerted on a tip-off about illicit trade of ganja, Hayathnagar Police got into action and waited at the Abdullamet. When the police checked the DCM van on suspicion, ganja stocks were found in the truck. The Hayathnagar police are investigating the case. The seized 22 quintals of ganja stock is estimated to be worth of Rs2crore.
