Hyderabad Police Release Slain Pregnant Woman’s Sketch

Hyderabad: The cyberabad police has released the sketch of the woman whose murder sent shivers down the spines of denizens here after finding her dismembered body stuffed in a gunny bag near the IT corridor in Gachibowli. The CID is believed to have prepared a sketch based on the information given by an eyewitness. A reward of Rs 1 lakh for information on the killer who murdered pregnant woman.

It's worth mentioning that the woman was eight months pregnant when she was chopped into pieces. Her body was found in sack at Sri Ram Nagar near Botanical Gardens. The post-mortem report revealed that before killing the woman, she was severely beaten up as she had broken ribs, and fractured pelvis.

"The lady is about 5 feet 4 inches tall, medium built, about 30 years old, round faced and has a fair complexion. She was eight months pregnant. She wore a maroon colour kurta, red colour pyjama, silver toe rings, maroon colour bangles and a copper finger ring," the police said in a press release.

"The Cyberabad police requests all doctors, mainly obstetricians and gynaecologists, to inform us if any lady with such a description came for consultations. Flat owners or neighbours can also provide clues if they have seen a similar dress or came to know about a missing pregnant woman," the police added.
