Hyderabad on alert post Bodhgaya blasts

In view of the serial explosions in Bodh Gaya, Union Home Ministry has put 8 cities in the country on alert.

Hyderabad is one among the 8 cities put on alert. Following the alert, security has been tightened in religious places, tourist spots and commercial areas in all the major cities.

Security has already been beefed up in Delhi. The other cities where red alert has been sounded include: Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Ahmadabad, Chennai, Bangalore and Pune.
