Hyderabad: A 26-year-old man committed suicide by setting himself on fire after a dispute with a family member of his boss.

Md. Abdul Qader, a native of Banjara Hills in Hyderabad went to Riyadh in November 2015 on a driver visa. In Saudi he was harrased by his chief and had a dispute over the payment of salary. Abdul, who does not have money to return India felt depressed and set himself on fire. The incident came into light when a relative of victim Qayyum got a call from Saudi that Abdul was admitted in King Abdul Aziz hospital with more than 75 per cent burns.

Qayyum lodged a complaint with the police that his brother Abdul was in the hospital and also informed that he had some dispute with the employer's family. "I have informed the ministry of external affairs about the incident. We are hopeful that they will respond positively and the family will get justice," police said. He demanded action on agents who were luring youngsters with lucrative job offers in the Gulf.
