Hyderabad cabs under scrutiny

In the wake of rape incident by a cab driver in New Delhi on a 25-yr-old , Centre banned web-based cab services and urged the states to do the same.

In the process, Earlier on Wednesday morning, Transport commisioner told that Telangana govt has banned  Uber across the state. In tune with the same a drive to put check on unregistered cabs started in Hyderbad.
3 unregistered cabs are sezied in Gachibowli, while the drive is taking place in Jubliee hills check post, Shamshabad airport, PV Narsimharao expressway. Police requested the people to co-operate with the cops and not to hire any web-based cabs for their safety
