Hyd MLA tops list of tax defaulters

MLA stood top the list of 100 defaulters who have not paid the property Tax for the year 2012.

According to reports, the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) revealed the name of MIM MLA from Yakutpura Mumtaz Ahmed Khan in the top 10 tax defaulters list. He owed a property tax due of Rs. 20, 98, 341 to the corporation.

Top defaulters include Hyderabad-based Asbestos Cement Pro with Rs. 13 crore, while second largest defaulter of the property tax was the NIMS hospital with Rs 4 crore.
