The Paramarsa Yatra of YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy's sister YS Sharmila began in the limits of Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation on Tuesday.

Speaking on the occasion, YS Sharmila said that Hyderabad grew into a Metropolitan city only because of the efforts of late YS Rajasekhara Reddy. She said the biggest Outer Ring Road in the country and the international airport were constructed during his regime. "Had YSR been alive, the Metro Rail project would have been completed long back and the thirst of the denizens would have been quenched with water from Krishna and Godavari rivers,"she said and added that YSR's contribution would never be forgotten.
Earlier, she called on the family members of Digambar Rao near Tulja Bhavan temple in Taranagar and Sannidhi Krishna's house in Allwyn Colony, Kukatpalli. She later went to T Ranateja's family near Kukatpalli Ramalayam. She assured the bereaved families that the YSR family would stand by them in their hour of need.
Later, she called on the family members of Nomula Rajaiah of Gandhi Chowrasta, Moosapet. She also garlanded the statue of Gandhiji in Allwyn Colony and to YSR statue at Shapurnagar Chowrasta. She also addressed a public meeting on the occasion.
