Hyd girl dies in US road accident

A 21-year-old medico from Hyderabad died in a road accident in America and three sustained grievous injuries in the incident.

According to information reaching here today, Muppa Viswaja, who was pursuing her medicine in New Jersey in the US, was moving along with three others in their Toyota Highlander vehicle in New Jersey. Around 1.30 am on Wednesday (local time) the girl from Gujarat who was in the driving seat lost control over the vehicle resulting in the vehicle turning upside down.
While Muppa Viswaja died on the spot, the three others sustained serious wounds. The injured were immediately admitted to a hospital in New Jersey where their condition is stated to be critical.
No case has been booked as the Gujarati girl who was driving the vehicle was not found violating any traffic rules. The local police are inquiring whether the Sandy cyclone was the reason for the accident.
Viswaja’s parents are staying in the MLA Colony in Jubilee Hills area of Hyderabad city and they have been informed about the tragedy, sources here said.
