Husband kills self and wife in Prakasam over family dispute

Chirala: A husband allegedly committed suicide after killing his wife in Prakasam district on Saturday.

According to reports, family dispute was the reason behind the incident. Pirla Nageshwar Rao, the resident of Gavinivaripalem, allegedly hanged his wife and later committed suicide.

When his daughter Srilakshi witnessed the ghastly incident, he tried to kill her even. But with her screamings the neighbours come to her rescue. They rushed her to the hospital. When neighbours entered the house, he fled the spot. He was later found dead in a barren. He seems to have consumed pesticides. Police have filed the case and started investigating.
