How will Chandrababu face Assembly resolution on Telangana?
Though he is known for his fabrications and manipulations, Chandrababu Naidu, in turn, is fumbling if the media men ask him to clarify his stance on separate Telangana. He usually evades media questions on the topic and keeps mum even the political rivals mock at him for his duality.
Whenever opposition parties demand for special assembly session over the Telangana issue, Chandrababu developed cold feet, since it demands his clear stand.
All the top leaders of the Congress party including Union Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde made it clear that Telangana bill will be placed in parliament after getting the opinion of the state assembly. Here the million dollars question is how Chandrababu Naidu will tackle the situation? Will his party vote when Telangana bill is put before the Assembly? If it participates in voting, will he vote in favor of Telangana or against it? Or will he skip the Assembly session like he did in the past when the no-confidence motion against the CM Kiran Kumar Reddy was moved?
Even Seemandhra TDP leaders, whose presence at Naidu’s fasting camp in Delhi was very minimal, are in fix over the Chandrababu's stand on the burning issue. They are also avoiding the press meets and are seldom coming to the public places to escape embarrassment.
