Former Pakistani cricketer Shahid Afridi has sparked yet another row, only a week after stirring a controversy on Kashmir and Terrorism. Afridi reportedly said in an interview that he would not feature in the Indian Premier League (IPL) even if he is invited to play. The Boom Boom batsman drew criticism from Indian fans, when he compared IPL with Pakistan's domestic T20 tournament, Pakistan Super League (PSL).

"Even if they call me, I won't go to the IPL. My PSL is the biggest and there will be a time that it leaves the IPL behind. I am enjoying the PSL, I don't have any need for IPL. I'm not interested in it and never was," Afridi was quoted as saying in a recent interview.


Following this tweet from a Pakistani journalist, cricket fans in India showed no mercy in trolling the former Pakistani cricketer. They remembered Afridi's IPL stint with Deccan Chargers.











Reacting to the trolls on his comment, Afridi said he is not worried about the response.
